Oh man, I'm SOOOOO excited two of my favorite older series are getting more love this year!

First of all, I just watched the Trigun movie trailer that the good attendees of AX 2009 posted here:

Oh dude this is so amazing, but seriously what is with all the haters? Where are my fellow Trigun fans at?! I hope this movie will revive the fandom a bit, the story was so soo good! Hopefully more people who attended can post about their experience there and what Nightow and Nishimura revealed about the movie!

I'm so excited, it has been several years since this movie was announced!



Also the Slayers Revo/Evolution dub cast has been announced!

Amelia: Veronica Taylor
Zelgadiss: Crispin Freeman
Xelloss: Michael Sinterniklaas

Funi managed to get back the four main cast members of this series which is great for all the dub fans out there and also Michael Sinterniklaas (Dean Venture from Venture Brothers) will be directing the dub as well as playing Xellos! I'm really curious about his interpretation of the character and I have high hopes for him if youtube videos are anything to go by, because he seems like a really talented and funny guy with a ton of voice acting experience to boot.

Though the Trigun Movie will probably be released during the 4th Quarter of this year at the earliest and Slayers isn't going to come out till next year, I'm still really happy that both are getting new material!
